Sunday I'll be going to a friend's bachelor party. We're taking him down to Boston for a convention and I might be meeting William Shatner there. :D Also, someone at work brought in some old tapes and I now own a betamax tape of Star Trek III.

... and I'm sure you have your choice of Betamax players on which to watch it?

Seriously, have fun, enjoy meeting the Shat, and don't stumble home past three a.m. through the Combat Zone alone.

 I'm half-tempted to bring the damned thing with me to see if he'd sign it. It was just... there, you know?

As for going home, none of us going are of the 'wild and crazy' bunch. Ad we've gone down to ole' Beantown before with only minor damage to the infrastructure left behind. :happydevil:

A Bachelor party involving a convention and watching ST3?

Now if it was a porn/stripper convention...

When it comes to porn, I don't require a plot.

I hate porn movies with dangling, loose plot threads.

I am back! I have met William Shatner and gotten my picture taken with him! I... am exhausted!

More details tomorrow when I'm coherent!

Cool. I'm back from a day at the track to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. Lots of fun, pony rides and playgrounds for the kids, and my daughter even picked a couple of winners. Most of the horses I handicapped are, however, still running.

Ooh, sorry, Colm.

Okay, the convention was awesome! I got my picture taken with Shatner. It'll be going up as soon as a friend scans it. I don't have a scanner. It was in Cambridge, it was awesome.
