Filing cabinets. They can't get hurt, they can take a lot of abuse, and there's something vaguely satisfying about putting a fist-sized depression in one that speaks directly to our Cro-Magnon roots. You'll just need either callused knuckles, or an ability to not mind bloody ones.

Bloody knuckles feel pretty damned good. Which is why they are so calloused. I will currently play violent video games, and then may head outside to find something to make an impression on.

I just heard about this weird new invention, though I'm still skeptical about the technology. I've hard it called a "heavy bag."

The bag has this annoying tendency not to get hurt though. Sometimes you really want to trash something and gaze upon its broken and shattered remains.

...bag's better for your hands though.

They also have a tendency to NOT need replacing after one use, like breakable things do.

I used to destroy my controllers for the various game systems I have owned. Maturity only allows me to realize at the last minute that PS3 controllers cost $50 a piece.

I also have restrained myself from punching my laptop screen several times. I have thrown my iPhone across the room but I have that Otterbox case that just makes it bounce off things.

My father is awesome. I am an idiot.

I had a good day for the most part. Got some cleaning done, mowed the lawn. I couldn't find any glass cleaner until my mother got home and helped me find it. I go to my car to clean the windows... and lock my ^^@((#&@&!&&! keys in after I'm done. :bangwall: :bangwall: :madashell: :madashell: :madashell: I check and... my spare keys have disappeared! I have a window cracked and try my best with a coat hanger to snag the lock, get the window lever...

He comes over to help after I call. He manages to hook the window lever and rotate it so the window slides down and I can unlock the door. Tomorrow I am getting MANY keys made and possibly my head examined.

Yeah my Dad has done that as well. He managed to unlock my car on the first try.

My wife just came home with a new prescription analgesic, for chronic headaches. In the information blurb that came attached, the number one side effect listed was "headaches."

Just got a spare made today. Locked my keys in my truck on Mother's Day, a few hours before my hospital trip.

Man, that day sucked.

I keep locking my bike keys in the underseat storage compartment. Uses a latch lock so as soon as it's pushed down the latch seals and the seat is locked. I've done it 7 times now; NOT helpful.

Not the biggest gripe in the world, but...

You just have to love shipping services sometimes. I've been waiting patiently for a package I knew was due "sometime" today since I'd checked the tracking into online, but I get up for ten minutes to take care of a few things and UPS chooses that exact moment to come. So, I come back and find a "helpful" InfoNotice left on the door during the brief period when I was away.

I do have another chance to pick it up tomorrow, but it's just frustrating to have more or less wasted all that time waiting just to miss the guy at the exact moment he comes. :bangwall:

Well, it's the ranting thread, not the 'major' ranting thread. All are allowed. And yes, that's very annoying.
