In another BSG music example, an A Capella Choir version of BSG's All Along the Watchtower
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

Er... what does this have to do with BSG? That's a Bob Dylan song from 1967, most famously recorded by Jimi Hendrix in 1968.Sonic Glitch wrote:In another BSG music example, an A Capella Choir version of BSG's All Along the Watchtower

The song was also used (in a rather substantial way) in the series. Re-arranged by the BSG composer. The version this choir is performing is the BSG arrangement.Mikey wrote:Er... what does this have to do with BSG? Here is the soundtrack arrangement from Season III. The song returns in various forms throughout the rest of the series.

I'm not sure if this is for real or not, but it's hilarious anyway.

Re: The Youtube video thread!
I heard a claim once that in Japan, Star Trek is called "Lieutenant Sulu : Master Navigator." That's actually the title on the screen in the Japanese credits.Mikey wrote:Star Trek via cultural perspective.
No idea if that's true, but it should be!

I cry that I actually know the characters, but it's not my fault, I have friends who are obsessed with it at the college, they talk about it a lot....
