I'd like to dedicate this award to my mom and dad....

I don't really read comics... but when I hit TV Tropes I read a page and just keep on clicking to another, and another... end up reading all sorts of weird things.

From what I read, the comics started to become rather... strange... towards the end.

Yes, TV Tropes will do that to you... and yes, "strange" is a nice but appropriate word for the bent the books took.

Of course, they started out with an anthropomorphic aardvark as the main (and only non-human) character, so...

If you want a fun comic, try Oglaf. It's a spin on the fantasy genre, but far more Pratchett than Tolkien. The themes are rather... um... adult.

Very, very, VERY adult.

I had the best salsa ever last night. Surf Taco's "hot" salsa, made of nothing but ground jalapeno chiles and a touch of cilantro.

Call me lazy but I'm not reading through 52 pages or randomness.

Yeah. I use my iPhone for that. Typing responses in forums are pain in the ass. So I don't do that. Family and friends are lucky I even text back to them. It's funny I used to be one of those people that originally didn't want a cell phone because human kind got along just well without a phone in the pocket for 'emergencies'. Then got the cell phone with the bare basics because it was a phone not a toy. Then the texting thing came around. Eventually I upgraded to a Blackberry with internet a few games. Thought it was cool because now I have something to pass the time when waiting for something.

After getting drenched in a torrential downpour, there is almost nothing better than a hot bowl of spicy chili and a cool black-and-tan.

That sounds pretty damn good.

The A/C is out in my store. It was a nice cool 95 degrees all day. :|
