Jacuzzis are like air conditioning. The more you need it, the more amazing a thing they become.

I've just noticed that Hoshi Sato's father is also Buck Bokai!

God I'm tired. Is it possible to just become immune to caffine?

I suspect it's possible to become resistant to it.Mark wrote:God I'm tired. Is it possible to just become immune to caffine?
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Pretty random.

Yeah, that's pretty random.
Random thing that just occurred to me.
In Star Trek IV, they travel back in time using the ship they stole from Christopher Lloyd, which they then need to find a nuclear power source for it to work again.

I also just noticed that in TNG: "Manhunt," Picard looked at the revolver which his secretary handed him like it was a lightly grilled weasel on a bun... but he checked the action and flipped open the cylinder (not a break-action or loading gate, but a swing-out cylinder) one-handed like he grew up with a double-action revolver under his pillow.

OK, now that it's been more or less sorted... a shiny Geek-of-the-Month virtual trophy goes to whoever can identify the character in my new av.

Re: A new random thread
By pure weird chance, I was reading that page on TV Tropes just a couple of days ago, having never heard of the character before, and then came to this site and it was the first thing I saw!
It's....
It's....
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

Re: A new random thread
Indeed, and thank you for not falsely correcting it to Rumor has it that Dave Sim meant that "correct" version, but jotted it down incorrectly in a hasty note and just kept going with it.
If you're not familiar with the character and have any interest in anything like that, it's a great series - tongue-in-cheek, ironic, satirical, and massively willing to poke all sorts of fun at the "establishment" of comic-dom.
