On behalf of the Grand Alliance, we offer the following ceasefire terms:

Terms for the Taiidan Directorate

1. All Taiidan forces are to immediately withdraw to FKI worlds.
2. Taiidan forces are to withdraw without further conflict.
3. The Taiidan will agree to formal peace talks.
4. The Taiidan will consent to sign a peace treaty agreed upon by Grand Alliance members within the year.
5. Should any of the above conditions be violated, war will resume without delay.

Terms for the Grand Alliance

1. All Alliance members will halt all hostile action against the Taiidan Directorate.
2. Safe passage will be allowed to Taiidan forces withdrawing to FKI space.
3. Current borders will be fixed to ensure that Taiidan and Alliance forces remain within their zones of control.
4. A formal peace treaty will be presented within the year that is fair to all Alliance members without risking the survival of the Taiidan Directorate.
5. Should any of the above conditions be violated, war will resume without delay.

We believe these terms to be reasonable and fair, and are offering the Taiidan this last chance for peace in good faith.

We will give this consideration, but article 4 is unacceptable after even the briefest perusal. The Directorate will not consent to sign a treaty that has not even been drafted yet. At the bare minimum a working copy of any such proposal must be included.

The Directorate does not have to sign the peace treaty if it chooses. However, if a treaty is not signed by the end of the year, the ceasefire will break and war will resume.

The Directorate can choose to work toward peace, and possibly reach an agreement all parties are satisfied with, or throw away all chance for a non-violent end to this conflict. The decision is yours.

We accept the cease fire terms and have signed a peace treaty with the Cardassian Union.

Treaty of Cardassia

The Taiidan Directorate and the Cardassian Union agree to the following peace terms.

Immediate Provisions

1. All hostilities will cease immediately.

2. The Cardassian Union will ask all Allied forces to leave its space forthwith and will comply with their terms to turn over their executive for trial as part of the pursuit of a general cease-fire aimed at ending the war in the short term.

3. The Taiidan Directorate will remove all warships from Cardassian space immediately.

4. The Taiidan Directorate will oversee the dismantling of the Cardassian Union dreadnought weapon system.

Our response to the allied proposal is thus:

The Grand Alliance, after much discussion and debate, has assembled a draft of our proposed peace treaty which is satisfactory to all Alliance members.

Article 1

Section 1
No territorial concessions will be made to or from the Taiidan on behalf of the Allies.

Section 2
The Allies will recognize the Taiidan State on the following worlds: 365, 366 and 367, with room for future expansion. Pending negotiations between the Taiidan and the remaining Ferengi, Taiidan sovereignty will also be recognized on systems 181 and 189.

We require clarification as to the dispensation of the remainder of the former Ferengi systems. The Directorate has not relinquished its claim to them and as part of this document their dispensation must be clarified.

Article 2

Section 1
The Taiidan Military will see an arms reduction. This will be observed by the United Federation of Planets and Breen Confederacy as the two closest Allied Powers to the new Taiidan State. The Taiidan will dismantle all but 100 Battle Cruisers, and 500 Cruisers. No Destroyers will be forcibly dismantled.

Section 2
The ships which will be removed will be scrapped and their ore used for the creation of the new Taiidan colonies. Additional Ore or materials needed for these colonies will be provided under Article 1 Section 3.

Article 3

Section 1
The Leader of the Taiidan Migrant Fleet will turn him or herself over to Allied custody and be tried as a war criminal. If found guilty, the sentence will be passed with the laws of the victim states in mind and carried out jointly by the allies.

The Directorate will provide the Admiral in charge of the action at Orias who made the decisions.

Section 2
All issues pertaining to the conduct of the Cardassian Union during the war will be jointly administered by the Allies and the Taiidan Directorate, including all prior arrangements.

Section 3
General goals for the Cardassian situation are:
- The prosecution of the former President of the Cardassian Union as well as all other Cardassian personnel involved in the Dreadnaught strike as war criminals by joint Council of the Allies and Taiidan Directorate.
- The Removal of Dreadnaught technology from the Cardassian Union.
- The disarmament of Cardassian military forces with mind toward maintaining basic defensive abilities.
- The reconstruction of a stable government within the Union
- Payment of Reparations to the Taiidan summing 10 million credits within 15 years.

The Taiidan have already negotiated a peace treaty with the Cardassian Union and will not be placing further stipulations upon a peace that has already been assured. To do so would be to reneg upon a treaty we have already signed.

As it seems that the conflict is nearing resolution, the Turei fleet deployed in the region will soon be returning home. our intention is to return home via the quickest route that shall lead us to our nebula. however, we will be combat ready at all times as a precaution.

After extensive deliberations and negotiations, we have crafted a peace treaty we believe is at least satisfactory to all involved in the recent war. All parties may sign below.

Treaty of Dorzan

The Treaty of Dorzan is signed in good faith to create lasting peace between the Taiidan Directorate (Taiidan) and the Grand Alliance Powers of the United Federation of Planets, the Imperium of Martok, the Breen Confederacy, the Turei High Republic, and the Gorn Hegemony (Allies). To that end both sides do agree by signature to the following terms and conditions:

Article 1

Section 1

Article 2

The Taiidan Fleet will reduce arms without compromising its ability to defend itself. The remaining active fleet will be composed of 50 Battle Cruisers, 250 Cruisers, and 1,000 Destroyers.

Section 2
The remainder of Taiidan ships will be placed in mothballs at system 182 where Federation sensors will be able to observe their status.

Article 3

Section 1
The commander of the Taiidan fleet responsible for the bombardment of Orias will turn him or herself over to Allied custody and be tried as a war criminal. If found guilty, the sentence will be passed with the laws of the victim states in mind and carried out jointly by the allies.

Section 2
All issues pertaining to the conduct of the Cardassian Union during the war will be jointly administered by the Allies and the Taiidan Directorate.

Section 3
The Allies will be granted access to observe the dismantling of the Cardassian Dreadnaught Program, called for in the Cardassian-Taiidan peace treaty.

Article 4

Section 1
The Taiidan Directorate will pay damages to the Imperium of Martok for the destruction of a majority of their infrastructure. The sum total of this will be 40 million credits.

Section 2
The Taiidan will pay at least 2 million credits a year to the Imperium, or a 1% interest rate will be charged to the Taiidan which they will have to repay in addition to the already owed debt.

Article 5

Having read these conditions and accepting them the Signature of our State’s Representative hereby bind us by its terms and conditions.
