Lol, you smack talker you
Deep, if you need a break, you can jump into Daystrom or Enterprise RPs. I'm running Daystrom with a backup from Mikey and Sonic is running Enterprise with a backup from me.
Might be a nice change for you, and get your creative juices flowing again.

Well...lets just say new sheet. What is going on will take us close to the end of the year...we will just fudge and roll it on over post battle and go from there. It is simpler that way.Mark wrote:Are you feeling well?Deepcrush wrote:Yeah, I was looking forward to not having to fight for a while.
Question Big.......I need to start orginizing my forces. Should I use my old sheet for now, or are we going to be getting new ones back to fight with?

FYI, the combat maps are out to resolve the major fleet combat this turn. Hopefully the new system which combines firing and movement into one orders phase will let us resolve quickly.

Also to speed things along...don't give me a new map you colored on (this goes for both sides). It just makes the map a mess for me especially when your numbers pass through the hexes as I have to reconstruct the hexes to make it all work how I need it to work. Just give oral orders and make them as clear as possible.
They can be as simple as (Move towards enemy group X) or as complex as move forward 2 hexes, turn right one facing, move foward 2 hexes, turn left one facing.
If something is done wrong it will be chalked up to unclear orders and the chaos of battle. We can do these things but I have to keep them moving.

If you put numbers on the side/top of the map. We could just give you cords for movement. Make it easier then you having to guess to much.

What, a number/letters system?
Makes sense.

Will work on that for the next battle. Feel free to still give orders without coordinates along the lines of get as close to group X as possible or something. When you give specifics I have to follow them. More general orders like, move along his left flank, let me react to what the other side is doing. Kind of a difference in command concepts that you guys can deal with I suppose.Deepcrush wrote:If you put numbers on the side/top of the map. We could just give you cords for movement. Alright, sure.
I think I've got a copy of an old blank CBT mapsheet that's got all the hexes labeled.

That might help. The key is that it can't be gray-scale so that I can fill in the hexes with the paint bucket in a paint program. It was strangely hard to find hex maps online for free.Tyyr wrote:Alright, sure.

Really? Hmm.
Ahh hell, no. It's a regular map sheet. I could scan one of my map sheets but it won't come out pristine for what you need. I'm ok with the general orders thing honestly.

Just making sure you all knew that no one had sent them yet. Didn't want you all assuming someone else had handled it.Sonic Glitch wrote:Well, we'll try and get it done tonight. I know I'm heading out now.BigJKU316 wrote:Still waiting on tac orders from the allies...
