Watching series five of Doctor Who. I want River Song to die in an even more horrible death than she suffers in series four.

Really? I kind of like her. She reminds me, in terms of literary device, of a sort of Capt. Jack Harkness - just one who doesn't make me want to gouge out my eyeballs with a shrimp fork.

*Blink* I feel the exact opposite, here. At least Jack didn't say the Doc leaves the parking brake on. :madashell: :madashell: :madashell:

Hmm. I kind of liked having someone around who doesn't treat the Doctor like some sort of deity. Judging by the trailers for the next season, you ought to get used to her. ;)

I know... i know. If you'll excuse me, I have to weld her onto Romana II and make her a bit more tolerable. :P

My new laptop has arrived, using it right now in fact. Inspiron 17, very big laptop. Full keyboard, 17" screen, and more power than my desktop. Love it. Now I just have to get everything set up the way I like it, which will be interesting as it uses windows 7, which I've never used.

I've had one for years and never an issue. I think that, like MS, the bad reputation that Dell has earned is hugely exaggerated for the sake of comedy.

No, it hasn't. MS is the same, it isn't just for comedy, they really suck, mostly the lower end stuff. Like as much as people say, oh Vista is fine and all, I can conclusively say that it has fried 3 hard drives for laptops I've had to replace, and Dell's are my biggest customers. Most is the Inspiron series, but have also gotten one in the XPS series.

They both really as bad as they are said to be, statistically speaking at least.
