I like to take Gary Larson's interpretation of dog barks:
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!"
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!"
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast
as Bull offed Custer

No, they only get involved if anyone is injured. Besides, how would they know what happened, they weren't there.Mikey wrote:Even if the dog was instigated? That seems pretty inhumane.Reliant121 wrote:Unless its a child, although not relevant. Most dogs if they bite a child with any form of viciousness or damage will be put down.
Ian - don't you have a police report to corroborate your version of the event?
The car is only worth £1700, if the damage costs more than that to repair then they will write it off. It's cheaper for them to do that.Anyway, hard to tell by a pic; but if there's no frame damage, in the U.S. that would be nowhere near enough to get an insurer to total ("write off") a car.

Happy xmas from Poppy our cat. I know it's a little early, but she doesn't have a calendar:

I'm not even joking, I would...I can't remember being in a place that warm since Italy.

Nah, typical American architecture. Single story buildings, all completely detached...its...For someone whose lived in a terraced or semi-detached, brick built two story town house for the entirety of his life, its just...unnerving I guess.
But the climate out there. It'd be like heaven.
