Its certainly....macabre. It is all based, basically around war. There is nothing but pure, tactical, Ethical and psychospiritual war.

It doesn't work like that. You have to go off topic by talking about something close to topic then beating it like a dead horse until you're so far off topic that no one even remembers what started it all.

Well, I'll make sure to avoid it, then. Definitely not my cup of hot chocolate.

How can you not enjoy it?
The screams of the enemy as they're mowed down in the thousands by vast Titans. The burning of entire continents. Entire planets being bombed into oblivion. Massive fleets clashing in ruthless combat. Billions of billions of fanaticaly loyal soldiers marching on an enemy stronghold, ready to die in the name of the Immortal God-Emperor. Legions of geneticaly advanced super-soldiers battling the monstrous creations of Chaos. The anhialation of hundreds of alien races. The deaths of countless trillions in but a single day.
The perfect game for today's upcoming dictator.

I enjoy mindless destruction as much as the next budding megalomaniac but that is kinda fanatic.

Anyway i like the cruel machinations of the witch-hunters. Certainly a good deterrent

Yeah... I'll pass. Thanks, anyway. The current direction in SW sounds somewhat like that... and I'm boycotting those novels.

The current direction of Star Wars is simply rehashing the prequels which, since I've already seen the films, I have no desire to do. Plus it would involve buying books written by Karen Traviss, which I have never done and now refuse to do on principle thanks to her evident mental instability and persecution complex.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Much of the EU shows quite plainly that Lucas arranges the plot and generally directs things.

*scratches his head*

I don't see what's so worshipable about some guy who turned himself into a giant worm and lived a couple thousand years. I mean, sure, he made Arrakis green again, but really.
