Pick which one you want to join, one or both, then either pick a Trek race not taken or design your own, then hand it over to the GMs to develop a sheet for you.

This hypothetical person would need to send a PM/email to the GM (myself for beta, or BIG for alpha) the two GM's will then discuss the current settings in both sims and decide which location would be better to introduce a new player. At that point if there is an open race you will be given that slot, if not we can work to create one, Trek can always use a new species or two.

I will say in Alpha that for the moment I am at my management limit for players. I have one more somewhat lined up for something coming to that game in the future, depending on which direction things go.

If you both collapse into nothingness for the sake of humanitarian reasons the UFP will offer to take all worlds that wish into a protectorate. Under the protectorate the worlds will be subject to Federation Federal Law (i.e. everything on-world would be the laws of the world it's only offworld that anything would change for them). They would be entitled to any aid they would need to recover from the war, and depending on the amount of aid needed tax rates would range from 10% to 0%.

The worlds would remain in the protectorate for 10 years at which time they can vote to either a) join the Federation outright, 2) remain a protectorate of the Federation, 3) become a sovereign world and/or a sovereign nation if doing so with multiple other worlds.

Well the condition of all this hypothetical talk is Mutual Destruction, meaning the KHC is equally as non-existent as the Romulan Senate.
