If you wish to not be belittled then your kind should learn to read the logs better then a Pakled. The Klingon Empire made no such assurance, in fact we held off the information about the cloak until after the we investigated out sensor logs.

The next time the Sheliak decide to blame us for their allies war they'll find themselves joining it.

Since you completely withheld this information from us, as well as not accepting an investigation, what sensor logs were we supposed to read. We do not have access to your sensor logs, and we have no way of possibly scanning Qo'nos from our space, so before you start claiming that we cannot understand information, maybe you should provide information to be understood. If you have proof that it was indeed a Romulan cloaking device then so be it, if not then do not claim it as fact.

For all worlds who wish to avoid conflict, take the Empire's offer. The Romulan people are free to do as they wish. We will not force you to fight.

We warn now that this bickering is pointless. You are both as stubborn as one another, neither will budge. Do not provoke one another, and all will go as planned. This relates in many ways to the Sheliak. Do not poke the figurative bear, and you will not be bitten.

We agree with the Turei. Don't go and get yourselves killed when it won't help.

As to the origin of the cloaking device, this news surprises us greatly. The Gorn made sure that no cloaking device existed in our space. This means the device came from a time before we had wiped out the Tal'Shiar. However, it does narrow down our suspect list, down to two... unfortunately both are an unpleasant thought.

Surely, if you suspect two parties then it is critical that they are revealed. The legacy of this horrific incident, regardless of who is the victor, must not be a universe of mistrust and suspicion. We ask the Romulan government, while it still stands, that it announces its suspects publicly.

After the mess caused by our last public announcement, we will not release such information. Especially because it is based on unconfirmed information of another power.

Why does it matter? You're under threat of almost total annihilation and you're afraid of a diplomatic incident? My friend, you must re-prioritize.

We are worried of what it may do to other powers. We actually care about others. We are not going to go out of our way to put others at extreme risk, just because there is a chance of stopping this war.
The necessary powers have been informed, and the matter is under investigation. Others are welcome to investigate those they chose, it doesn't matter much at this point.

::: Open transmission :::

Following the effects of the recent war, the government transition process has been streamlined and proceeded quicker than we imagined to allow a full government to take control in the light of this crisis. The formation of the Turei High Republic has completed and our people can return to the civilized society that we once upheld.

In this light, the economy has boomed to unprecedented levels. We will be redeploying the Vanguard flotilla into active service to allow our borders to be effectively protected. We will also be opening the borders to external immigration in controlled numbers, submittable to the Ministry of Immigrant settlement. Reporters and other trade ships from external races will be welcomed into our space, although of course they shall struggle to traverse our territory and are advised to travel via the public transportation system.

To the governments of the alpha quadrant, we have found our economy bring us numerous benefits. We have some 12,000,000 units available to our current trade partners, all of which are negotiable and divisible among the races we trade with. If, however, you are not a current trade partner and still want to trade with us then you may propose a new route to us and we will decide by our own standard. Any closure of trade routes will be notified.

The Turei government wishes it known that any Romulan citizen who wishes to flee the empire, flee the terror and strife that has befallen your worlds, you are welcome among friends. The Turei High Republic's border is open to all refugee ships of the Romulan Star Confederation, and all Romulan citizens will be granted immediate and effective citizenship among the Turei government. They will be allowed to serve in the Vanguard Flotilla, and will be able to run for office should they wish.

You are welcome.

The Sheliak as well will allow for any Romulans fleeing to live on the soil of Sheliak planets, although uncomfortable, you will live as free citizens.

*Klingon Defense Force Command*

Any ship transporting Romulan persons or belongings out of the former Romulan Empire without the consent of the Klingon Transit Command will be boarded, its crew arrested and passangers returned to the planets from which they came. Any ship refusing to submit to checks will be destroyed without further warning.

Romulan terrorism remains a high concern and as such we remind all vessels to confirm transit rights before departure. All Romulans are now citizens of the Klingon Empire and as such are bound to the same laws as all others within the Empire. Any nation accepting Romulan persons without the consent of the Klingon Tranist Command will be charged with supporting potential terrorism. This will be charged as fine at one credit per citizen or if fine is refused then as an act of war.

Again, the KTC reminds all to confirm transit before departure or acceptance of transitting persons from within Imperial Space.

We would request of the empire permission for civilian Turei ships to allow small groups of Romulan citizens from their border worlds asylum in Turei space.
