A TOS Throwback
Re: A TOS Throwback
Must be one of those 2400 baud jobs.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Re: A TOS Throwback
Question: why does the gunpowder need to be removed from the circumstance? Kirk didn't bring it along with him, he manufactured within the scenario from materials likewise within the setting. If we need to remove all the available resources from the setting, then the Gorn wouldn't be able to pick up a rock and use it either. The question then just becomes, "Who would win in a fist-fight in an empty room?"
Which, IMHO, is a question which is both obvious and empty of value.

To SG? Why would it break the unbroken string of French computing victories against him?Mikey wrote:Maybe SG's modem just surrendered?

No, not to him in particular; I just figured that if it were French, it might just surrender in general.

Kirk would have fashioned some sort if rudimentary lathe instead....

to have succeeded.”
