What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Damn Pres, I'm really sorry. When I was 18, my dad was slowly passing from cancer and fell into a morphene coma. They said he had a slim chance to pull out too....but said they didn't think he would, and things wouldn't really improve if he did. So my entire family left me....to decide if we should pull the feeding tube and let him slip away.
It still messes with my head today.
I know we haven't had too much luck hooking up telephonically brother, but if you need, call at 2 am and wake me the hell up.

Bizarre.
I recently had a dream that I was a cast member on LOST. Not a character in the show, but an actor on the show.
Most normal dream I've had in years.

Well, no cavities at the dentist and my car passed inspection. Two big hurdles out of my way.

I've just been to two out of three of my possible college choices and its only served to make me even more confused.

My damned car broke down last night. Went and bought a new battery, then couldn't get the old one out. Still stuck at the shopping center

My mother has sort of hinted that we might be able to car share which I would love at least to get rid of the ridiculous prices for the first year or twos insurance.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Well, it looks like my mom probably isn't going to make it. They called me today to ask if I was sure I wanted them to try to resuscitate her if her heart stopped. He described her condition today as "critical" (and he used the brilliant medical term 'burned out' to describe her liver function again today ), and he said even using the defibrillator could kill her. I told him to just do whatever they can to keep her alive, but if she goes, then at least they will have tried everything they could.
