Shouldn't be done. That would be like taking the Flintstones and... oh wait, they did that.

I thought it looked rather funny. Might be worth renting...or, watching on the internet...
Of course, I never really watched Yogi Bear when I was a child, so that might be influencing my decision.

I'm trembling in fear at the possibility of a Jetson's movie. So far, it hasn't happened, but at the rate they're going - well...hell, they did movies of the Flintstones, Scooby Doo, the Smurfs (Why in the world would you want to do that?), and now Yogi. Why not the Jetsons? Man, I hope they don't.

Word on the street is they are remaking "Highlander" and "Monster Squad" as well.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

To be fair, I enjoyed the Scooby Movies. I think they've done a great job of keeping them in the sarcastic vain that the cartoons were in.

Agreed, and was it just me, or did every time the back of the Mystery Machine open, there was a puff of smoke? And you ever notice how Scooby and Shaggy are always hungry?Deepcrush wrote:To be fair, I enjoyed the Scooby Movies. I don't think the idea of Scooby and Shaggy being wheatheads is a new one, or much of a secret. I've also noticed (thanks to fatherhood) that the new Scooby-Doo cartoon pokes a lot of sarcastic fun at the original.mwhittington wrote:Agreed, and was it just me, or did every time the back of the Mystery Machine open, there was a puff of smoke?
