A strongly worded letter followed by a reasonable debate over Romulan ice tea?

No?

I mean details. Which ships, how it ended, percentage lost, etc. For that matter, I don't even know which systems.

Does it count as a letter if I the desk he wrote on over his skull?

Oh, I think I caught the fleet I was after so it won't be a dice roll but a real battle.

My weekend thing turned into a 10-day work trip. I can still move things along a bit, but it will be slower than usual. Here is the tentative plan for the week.

1. We have a Romulan-Klingon fleet battle coming up, I am going to work on running that during the week.

2. The sheets you sent me are for the whole year, so I MAY advance the time in the sim (ie have everyone send me military orders for the next 3 months) before I send back sheets. You should not really need them anyway. If you need to know what additional ships you have just check the totals in the quarterly column on your starships sheet.

3. I will check in and be around most evenings, but I don't want to do sheets on my laptop as it will put everything to Excel 2010, which I don't really want to use as most of the places I do this don't have that.

Any questions, shoot me a PM.

Dude, if you've got business to handle then handle it. The sim won't leave without you, I promise...

My nights will be free now that I am where I am at. After a couple of 18-20 hour days I am working 9-5 for the rest of the week. Just not at home.

And I have squat to do at night here.

That works I guess. Should we do the battle while you're away so that you can do the sheets when you get back?

I know that feeling. Go on a business trip and you day is pretty packed then it finishes up and... nothing. You've got six or seven hours and exactly jack shit to do.

Hey BIG, if I end up out of the game (I hope to kick Klingon butt, though I expect the worst), I want to know exactly how this got set up. I'm curious how much of a long shot this whole thing was.

Then I get to watch the rest of you guys clean up the mess I'll leave.

Well if I'm out then I already called dibs on the Dominion but you could pick up the Hurq or Borg or start a new race.

Play as the Borg... that would be weird...

Wait, how the heck would you go out of this... I only have a third of the force you do... if that.

Could be cool, give you something interesting to try out.

Yes but you're not facing my whole force, only a part of it. Most of my power is still in my space. In truth, if you brought your forces together you should be a better then even match for me if my intel is right. I kind of wanted a tough fight...

You could hire mercs to boster your forces. You have allies with whom you've signed a defense treaty. There are several options still available.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.
