Well, my mom is going into the hospital tomorrow. She's been extremely sick for a while, and I've exhausted my at-home remedies to no effect.
Not cool.

To add to the gloom and doom:
Just got an e-mail from my dad, his late brother's wife died last tuesday from cancer (don't know what kind, this is the first I knew she even had cancer love my family) and his other brother (well it would have to be another brother wouldn't it? ) has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and is also recovering from heart surgery.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Got a question for our friends across the pond. What exactly does the expression "Bob's your uncle" mean? As best I can figure from hearing it used, it seems to mean something along the lines of "and you're all set", though I'll be damned if I can figure out how or why it's suppose to mean that.
