Similar maybe......except in Cardassian colors.

Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
An FYI.
On somethings you will get in as much effort as you put into the sim. If you say basic things like send in the troops, capture this ship, block this trade route your forces will do their best to do it in a conventional manner.
If you take the time to writeout a plan I will general consider what you came up with and adjust your chances upward (could be downward if its just silly) as I see fit. But in general the more work you put into a plan, particularly something of high importance, the higher your chances for success.

If at all possible I need turns by the end of the day on Saturday (where ever you might be located) so that I can work on them Sunday. Thanks.

I believe you had mine back the next day after you sent it.

You should get mine today. Next turn, I'll be up for transitional government with any luck.
Also, the ominous RnD project talked about in PM's wont be going forward. For starters, I cant afford it. For second, I want to wait until the new classes enter service so I can lessen the cost as much as possible. That way, I can bump up the firepowers.

Still waiting on Gorn and Shelliak sheets. Would really like them by noonish today. If not I am probably going to start a few things that need to get moving by then. You can still submit sheets after that, I might alter them a bit however to account for information that will come out by then.

Do I face an unexpected revolt?
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
We will be having a 3 month turn. News and turn reports tomorrow hopefully.
I am going to ask for a couple of favors this turn.
1. Something nasty is about to happen. It was somewhat of a long shot that rolled its way through a series of obstacles to actually occur. Please remember its just a game. Some players will be more than a bit annoyed with what happened. Just remember, its a game and there will likely be more runs in the future. Its not the end of the world.
2. Please don't ask me if this was a GM generated event, player generated event or some combination. This is likely to be the defining event of what is going on in this sim, at least in the near future. I promise there will be a day I will tell everyone some of the stories of what happened but I can't even really talk about how this came about lest I influence how people are reacting to things with OOC information. Thanks for the help.
3. Keep IC stuff IC and OOC stuff OOC. If someone screws you in the game they are just playing their role. Don't let it get you mad at them personally or anyone else. This should be a stressful IC period but OOC you should all enjoy it as a somewhat intense period that you should enjoy, even if you end up "losing" because of it.
Thanks guys. Stay tuned, I think I will put up the relevant news story late today. I am taking my time with it though to make sure its right.

I have a feeling that I'll end up screwed over really bad... Sounds like it'll be interesting, maybe not fun, but definitely interesting.

Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Could this be...the ISA/Coalition war of doom?
hey, If I get screwed I'll just have a moody for a couple of hours and keep on going in the Beta sim.
