I think that turn was even worse for me than the one where Deep declared war. :(

Would anyone else agree that Covenant ships look a little bit organic? I've run out of them now, So I'm wondering if I can get away with using Mon Cal ships...I've tried drawing my own covvie vessels...not getting far.

Yeah, organic or sculpted. They definitely give the form over function vibe.

The Covenant iCruiser.

I've pretty much used all the covenant models that are visually represented so far. the Destroyers get the Covenant Corvette, the cruisers the CCS class, and the big boys the assault carrier. The Covenant Destroyer is left but I'm not keen personally.

I'll use a Mon Cal design. Thanks.

I'd keep trying to make your own. I enjoy doodling on new Cardassian ships.

I can draw Cardie ships within reason, they are mostly angular. My scaling is a little bit off, but I can sorta do it. Anything with a curve in and i'm screwed. I've got virtually no equal distance perception, one side is nice and perfectly curved, and the other side appears to have a gigantic tumor.

Then draw half of it. Buy a French curve and draw half the ship. Then either trace the other side or scan it into a computer and mirror it.

Who says ships have to be symmetrical?

Lol......I remember watching SG:U and seeing the Destiny. I was thinking, "wow, the back of that ship looks like the front of a Cardie one. Hence was the design for the Malificar born.

My problem for ships is, I can see them in my head, but can't put it into the computer.

Draw them then scan?

I can draw romulan ships to an extent. And places like Deviant art are a haven for Romulan designs.
