What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Holy crap, that was a laugh out loud moment. Enough to make the girl next to me think I'm nuts.
Anyhoo, had my spinal shots done yesterday, and today it's pretty sore. But the doc said relief SHOULD come within 3 to 5 days. :::crosses fingers:::

I'm checking my e-mail and newegg obsessively to see if they're going to get my order shipped today. If they do I have Labor Day weekend to put the thing together between coats of paint. If not I'm waiting until Tuesday.

What probably happened is the clock on the server was set forward for a short while. Then it was set back to the correct time. Reliant must have posted at the time the clock was wrong...

There seem to be a fair few other posts affected. This one, for example. I can assure you that I was not posting at five in the morning.

Anything posted while the server time was wrong would be affected permanently.Captain Seafort wrote:There seem to be a fair few other posts affected. This one, for example. I can assure you that I was not posting at five in the morning.

For some insane reason, that came out a bit more ominous than it should've.

On a different note.. we've got our local Blues festival on this weekend so I'll be off listening to music and enjoying a drink or two for the next few days so enjoy duct taping up the universe while I'm away
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

Got some really wicked lightning going on right now. Good conditions for watching it too, no rain at all so it's perfectly clear, and only moderate light pollution. It's the really impressive looking bolts, the kind that branch wildly until they look like a glowing giant spider web in the sky as they crawl across the clouds.

True story. I had a dream last night I was on an airplane and there were loads of you lot on there! Wierd huh? Mark just sat there laughing all the time, Kieran kept bugging the air-steward to see if he could go and see the captain and flight-deck, Mikey, Preston and Jason were arguing furiously about Judaism, Teaos was lying on the floor with a bottle of cider in his hand and CJ was sitting quietly with earphones on, watching live football and the Switzer clan were sitting up the back because they weren't allowed to talk to other people. Apparently, Graham and Ian were in first class away from the riff-raff. We must have all been flying to some sort or DITL convention? Bear in mind I've never met any of you Must be Facebook thing or something.....

I'm not sure about Rochey, but I'm feeling a little left out...
