Killing? We Cardassians don't kill our work force. We will give them so much. We will give them stations orbiting their planets and We will teach them industrial mining.

Possibly more updates and depth coming down the pike for everyone. Taking a close look at adding resources to the game. It is looking to be eaiser than I had expected. Should add a lot of economic depth, the possibility for economic warfare and shortages for various powers.

They don't cost you in that sense because your GDP would not be impacted here. A worker being paid to make say anti-matter is still taxable after all.Reliant121 wrote:Oh god, as if I weren't struggling economically enough.
But it would be a major issue going forward, finding the supplies you need to operate a fleet and build a fleet.

So this will affect fleet deployments? How so?

Pretty simple, no gas, no go.Reliant121 wrote:So this will affect fleet deployments? How so?
Essentially the model I am working off of now would have a peacetime and wartime consumption rate for your fleet. Wartime would be much higher as ships are contstantly at high speed and in combat at that point. Peacetime is lower. You produce however much anti-matter a year and can stockpile it. It would be weighted so that in times of war you would likely eat into your stockpiles fairly quickly.

what materials are going to need to be stockpiled, IIRC pretty much every power has replicator technology which allows the replication of new material of almost every form. There are some exceptions, but you have stuff like warp core and coil limits reflected in ship procurement.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Well anti-matter is one. The other category will be industrial ores. The theory will be that you can mine stuff you need to ships and use it like that in that form OR you can use your anti-matter to run more replicators to provide you the material needed. Your choice.Lt.
