I copy as much as I can to a word doc.

Reliant, the issue here is not truth but perception. No one can ever prove what money was for, it is too eaisly fake. But one can eaisly track the movement of large amounts of funds by doing economic intel. It is very hard to cover such things up.

Which is why I have provided my explanation. They can either believe me or not, their choice.

Fine, look. I'm highly agitated, I'm not in a particularly stable state of mind.

I didn't particularly want to talk about it but.

my dad's just been taken to hospital with a second suspected heart attack. hence why i'm on edge.

Ok. Take a break for the day. Don't worry about this stuff if that is going on. This is not a big deal. Its just for fun. Conflict is supposed to be fun here. Not serious.

I'd appreciate if one of the moderators can remove the post with the deleted element in it.

Okay, I've got a bit of composure. Sorry, i overreacted and I lost it.

I would dearly love to take a break, unfortunately I know that it will only cause a relapse of insomnia if I don't deal with it now. I'd rather fuck up a game than not sleep.

People would do well to remember this as well. Intel is as often wrong to some degree as it is right and people are as often lying as they are telling the truth. That is why when someone does something silly (like detonating a WMD off the border of two major and one minor power) the situation will be confusing and likely lead to problems.

Conflict is a natural part of the game world. It is supposed to exist.

Just edit the post to ... and then we can just pretend it never happened. Not like we haven't seen Trek get reconned in the past.

Best wishes to your father.

Alright, he's alive. And it was more of a murmur than a heart attack (i'm on my phone outside the hospital, typing with tears on a touch screen is a pain).

And in the future just recall the ambassador and then shoot them in the privacy of your own home.

I promise, if something crucial is happening to your empire I am more than willing to halt the game to wait for people to get back to where they can participate. Take care of your family. Get some sleep.

No, to be honest that's kinda cool plus it gives trek some good TV.
