With only a kiss I'm betting that hard part is still sticking around.

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

I don't think you can go as far as deny his existence. Far too loud for that.

Well, today I seem to see so many people who argue about the Muslim Mosque near ground zero thing, and I agree with a Tea Party Advocate. I think I may have to hurt myself for that, they may be stupid, but freedom is their thing...

If freedom is their thing, why are the Muslims not free to do what they want?Nickswitz wrote:Well, today I seem to see so many people who argue about the Muslim Mosque near ground zero thing, and I agree with a Tea Party Advocate. No, the Tea Party people are all for freedom, and today on a news show I was watching said basically the Muslims can do what they want, they are not terrorists, nor are they an enemy, therefore let ten place it where they want.
Other people are pissed because Muslims are as free as we are...

I'm sorry but thats like saying I'm annoyed that Christians are free as we are because they committed a load of atrocities during the Crusades. In no way at all does it represent the open majority of the christian population, same as the terrorist cells don't represent the majority of the Muslim population. For a start, most terrorist cells are Shi'a, where as the overwhelming majority of Muslims are Sunni. If the terrorists are a small percentage of Shi'a, they are an infinitely small percentage of the overall muslim population.

Why not lock them up for being paedophiles, at least any that are catholic. After all there are catholic priests who are paedophiles, so they must be.Other people are pissed because Muslims are as free as we are...

Well I'm glad that our British counterparts aren't as stupid as some of the population we live amongst.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
I find the islamic thing particularly difficult because one of my best friends is a Hanafi-barelvi Sunni, and shes spent a very very very long time trying to explain a lot of the Qu'ran (I've read some portions of the English version) and it's not anywhere near as bad as anyone makes it out to be. There are some distinctly strict elements of course, but thats much the same as any religious text in existence. Most of them are all interpretations and alterations anyway. The Bible for example has been modified more than once, the most notable i can think of being the Council of Nycea. Islam is no different to any other religion, it just features some slightly more strict teaching (which it is the individuals choice to believe) where it gets complicated is in the Islamic conflict between Sunni and Shi'a which is sorta like Catholicism vs. Anglicanism only far more pronounced.
