as a sneak-peak/beta-tester I can assure you this new mod is pretty cool
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Any chance to extend territory via colonization seems a great idea to me!

I'll start a thread about it today

Maybe I'll find a rogue planet or something in that empty swath of space I annexed.
I wonder when we'll start terraforming. Or in my case, Cardaforming.

Still need Romulan and Gorn turns I think. Otherwise the changes are going well without too many unintended effects on things. News will probably be somewhat skimpy this turn as not much happened and I will be worn out just making these changes.
I am 5 sheets in (Feds, Ferengi, Klingon, Cardassians, Breen) with 2 more on hand to do. I will send sheets out seperate from sitreps just to let you get a feel for things.

Yup, empty areas between powers will stay that way, since I presume they are well traveled.
You will see outlying planets you can go after if you wish. There are more than enough for you to sink your whole economy into for the next 40 years without running out of space.

Hmm....does this mean we'll need to develop a colonial fleet as well? Some way to build an initial infrastructure? Lord knows I don't want any of those "colonies" they keep showing in DS9, so it'll need alot of support from the coreworlds initially.

I will have mine in in about 2 hours... depends on how long the doc takes.

Thats probably going to be the point. While a lot of sci-fi shows colonization as a fairly idealistic affair, its probably ludicrously expensive.

It would be cheaper to conquer the natives, I'd imagine. At least Cardassia doesn't have a Prime Directive, so we can offer primitives tech to "join" the Union.
