Soemthing like a 20-25 foot job, I'd guess. Certainly no need for a duallie, but I'd absolutely 100% advise against a half-ton. Generally, a 150/1500 series truck could be rated to tow that much... but that's not including the trailer's fresh and grey water tanks (8 lbs./gallon,) propane, or luggage and passengers in the truck itself. An F-250/Ram 2500/Silverado 2500 will pull one of thise well; and what you think you'll lose in gas due to the bigger engine you'll make up in not straining the engine flat out all the time. For gas engines, especially if you're going with something a few years older, I'd avoid the Dodges and their transmissions.

Sort of makes our only foray into towing anything, a billion year old caravan seem somewhat pathetic; a 1.3L Austin Maestro is NOT an ideal car for moving a caravan with.

Well, my family and I spent most of yesterday driving back from South Carolina. It was a fun trip, despite the worst sunburn of my life (not quite to sun poisoning level, but close I think). Somewhere in Virginia, we passed a billboard on I-95 "AMERICA is coming for you Congress! Vote Out Liberals and Progressives 2010!" -- and for the first time in a while, I was truly angry at a billboard or political slogan. :bangwall:
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

I think, in a more humerous mood, there was a billboard somewhere near Battersea power station which had a lovely, saggy man breast and big white letters saying "Moobs: Back in fashion".

made my day, did that.

I had a good day... until the last ten minutes or so. Not sure if it's enough for the ranting thread.

IDK about hell, you just reminded of the time I saw a Meat Loaf concert when I was 14 (and he was about 400 lbs.)

Actually, it was a lot of fun. Say what you want, but that man can sing. Plus, I got my first reach-

Really, thats because Virginia fears the Liberals getting a hold in VA and turning them into another Maryland.
