We will consider it. Scientific research was always an afterthought, making use of old ships that had run out of purpose.

We will get back to you soon.

We did the same and we understand your position. We will need you to remove your ships until other agreements can be made.

The Gorn/Tholian Hegemony would like to announce (and therefore submit to the Neutral Rights Treaty signatories) that it has begun the annexation of the neutral space extending from our current border to the Clock'Cha wormhole. It is easier for us to maintain security of the Wormhole by including it in our own territory and therefore subject to our own patrol paths; it also enhances the security of the wormhole as there now exists less space available for a force to attack the Beta Terminus by surprise. We have begun marking the area with the proper navigation beacons and request that the Galactic powers alter there star-charts accordingly. There remains a corridor of neutral space between the Gorn/Tholian Hegemony and the Klingon Empire.

The Klingon Empire will consider the space between us as a DMZ. Do the Gorn have any ships that will require passage through the Klingon Empire?

Currently only the ships transporting our forces, and returning from station within the Romulan Empire. Assuming each signatory power of the NPT who was to receive reparations from the Empire verifies to us that they have received them (via PM).

The Gorn will also recognize the area between our two Empires as a Demilitarized Zone.

The Klingon Empire would agree to a 2-LY DMZ, to be monitored by short range only stations on either side.

Your ships passing through our space from the Romulan Empire will be granted safe passage. We ask you respect our rights to privacy as you pass through.

:::incoming message from the Office of the President of Cardassia:::

During a routine exploration mission, the CSS Voltir discovered the mostly intact remains of one of the most famous and decorated starships of the Dominion War, the CSS Galor. The Galor was the first in one of Cardassia's most successful class of starships, in service since just before the first Federation war, and widely recognized as the best of the best. The Galor was known for cunning, savagery in combat, and ingenuity of her Gul and crew.

She boasted an impressive combat record, against Starfleet forces in the first conflict, as well as in later engagements, with Starfleet, Klingon, and Romulan forces. In battle against the Klingons during their invasion, the CSS Galor boasted the single highest kill rate of any ship in the Cardassian force.

During the attack on Cardassia by the allied forces, she held the line against overwhelming odds, suffering massive damage but continuing to fight. When the orders came to change sides and attack Dominion forces, it was the CSS Galor who fired the first shot against our former allies.

In that battle, a running fight ensued. The Galor pursued a Dominion warship that was equipped with weapons of mass destruction, and continued to press the attack, even though she was overmatched and heavily damaged. According to the log, the Galor used the last of her power reserved to beam her breaching warp core onto the Dominion vessel, destroying it, and stranding them crippled and powerless, in the depths of space.

When the crew of the Voltir beamed over to the Galor, they found the crew had died from suffocation and cold, but each and every member of the ships crew had died at their post, maintaining their duty even in death.

The CSS Galor is being towed back to Cardassia Prime as we speak by an honor guard. It is fitting that the first of the Galors also be the last, as this class was recently decommissioned and scrapped.

In the wake of this find, we will be hosting a formal decommissioning and awards ceremony for this noble ship and crew, and will be presenting each man and woman aboard with the Shield of Galor, posthumously.

We invite your respective governments to send a representative on your behalf to honor these fallen heroes.

The Assembly will send one of our highest religious dignitaries as representative. We have not taken part in the war, and largely ignored interstellar affairs during that time, but we believe any man, woman or child who has the courage to die a heroes death should be honoured.

We too believe that each and every warrior should be honored the same. We will send one of our religious dignitaries to honor these warriors who fell during battle.

While the Klingon Empire is not on good terms with the Cardassian Union, we would be honored to attend. Few Cardassian ships who stood against the Klingon Defense for lived to tell the tale. This is the first and only Cardassian ship to claim so on multiple occasions.

Lady Sirella, First Wife of Chancellor Martok will attend if allowed and present the Order of the Bat'Leth to the families of the crew.

The Breen Confederacy has no religious representatives to send, but we will send a diplomatic delegation in honor of the warriors who died in battle on that warship.

The Federation's diverse cultures prevent any one religious figure, however a delegation from the State Department and Department of Federation Cultures shall be sent to honor those fallen.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The Gorn would be honored to send a delegation from our Military to salute the sacrifice of our Cardassian comrades.
