Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
They were not terrible, it is just that absent detailed orders I either have to guess at how you would react to situations or try and ask you all in a real-time situation. Only so much can be done on the fly and if you stick those sort of checkpoints into an order set it is much simpler for me to ask you to you want to do option A or B than have you write new orders on the fly.
Also keep in mind the FKI had very detailed intel for this. They were part of the Ferengi Alliance before and knew exactly what was where.

An OOC note on the contract for the Profits. I have it somewhere (was in my PM box) because I wrote the agreement. It must be at work if I saved a copy of it but I have the highlight in my notes on treaties FWIW.
Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
Big, can we have a thread labeled "Treaties" or some such? We could easily refer to all accords we sign, and either Tsuki or I could lock it to maintain its integrity.

That would be helpful....Mark wrote:Big, can we have a thread labeled "Treaties" or some such? We could easily refer to all accords we sign, and either Tsuki or I could lock it to maintain its integrity.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I posted up the Treaty thread. Anyone that knows their own treaties can post them in there, any treaties you need BIG to post should probalby just let him know that.

Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
Should I as the Sheliak say anything at this point, just kind of introducing myself?
None of the stuff discussed affects me at all, and my stance is very neutral overall, but sitting around isn't very fun... Haha

To me, the Sheliak seemed obsessive about order and law. You could totally work that angle.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
