I saw a deer today. In the park that is in the middle of town.

One of my best friends has cancer. Not the kind you get better from.

I don't know what I'm going to do.

Holy hopping snot, I'm sorry, man. I kind of know exactly how you feel - we may find out on Friday whether or not my sister-in-law has multiple sclerosis. As much as it sucks, what you can do right now is remember that your friend is the one with cancer - s/he needs you to be there for him, and not see you worrying about how broken-down you are about it. Sorry, that sounds a lot colder than I meant, but you get the idea.

I agree completely. Leia isn't handling it very well (I could've broken the news a little better, I suppose), but I'm already in research mode. We're gonna kick this cancer's sorry ass!

Just helped a friend work on their apartment, he's fully remodeling and I decided to help him out some.

Very sorry to hear Tsu, and yeah, like Mikey said, be there for them, they need it I'm sure.

Exams are finished, kids are gone and now for the grading. On the downside one more of my kids may have failed two of her classes. On the upside she passed four and can retake the two in summer school. Which means that twelve of fourteen have passed all their classes with one dropout and one who has to make up some classes. I'll miss the kids but I'm kinda glad the year is over.

Well, wifey's leaving Sunday to teach a seminar in D.C. for a few days. I have an idea (and a prayer) what my Dad's Day gift might be... involving a pair of tickets...
