Very sorry to hear it. I assume you mean the young man was struck by the senior's car?

Yes it is, and it turns out that he was on his bike and turned a corner and hit her car, it was a no fault scenerio, she wasn't charged, I feel bad for her too, she must feel like crap, she was a sweet girl. Overall it just sucks. She was friends with the boys older brother, and I believe his sister as well.

It was so sad today.

Man, that's just plain f*cked up. Sorry, Nick. :(

EDIT: Someone should be watching the girl at the moment. She might feel too terrible, if you get my meaning.

Yeah, I do know actually, all too well.
I've checked up on her on fb over the day, she's ok, yesterday right after the accident she had to be sedated, but I've checked up on her a couple times and she's still alive.

Damn. I'm sorry for all concerned... Good luck.

In other news, a friend and i have started writing what we one day hope to call an original science fiction novel. Perhaps at some point I'll post some of it here. I think we have a good plan so far, now however, do we have the work ethic?

That's mostly up to you. Unfortunately, real life will occasionally slap you around, and you may not have as much time as you think.

Aye. I think we have the work ethic if we really try. Right now we're in stage 1 of the project: Enthusiasm. But then we'll go back to college and probably forget about it and it'll be yet another Great Idea that Wasn't...

Most certainly on the second, still have stupid a******s who can't just shut up, but her friends are all supporting her, heck, she now has a support group on FB. She's such a wonderful girl, and she has a direct line to me on my phone. I told her whenever she needs she can talk to me.

HA! Finally had the proper convergence of free time and rain-less-ness to cut the back lawn. It was becoming more proper to say "walk through it" rather than "on it," and if I had to let it go any longer, I would've had to cut it with a combine instead of a mower.
