Oh. My. Gawd. It's 41 degrees here. Almost too hot to type.

Wait. 42, thanks to the humidity. I hate this Province so much.

Well, just had a really bad fight with a friend.
Worst part is it was induced not by differing opinions, but by heat and a migraine. I'll have to wait for the standard 1 week cool down to see the actual repercussions.

It's about a hundred here. Fahrenheit, that is.

Holy hopping snot! I thought it was hot by me, and we're "only" at 91 (33 C.) I find it morbidly ironic that we both have higher temps than Tsu, who lives in a place where Satan would say, "Damn, but it gets hot here."Cpl Kendall wrote:Wait. 42, thanks to the humidity. I hate this Province so much.
I think the 1 week is waived when the fight is caused by weather a/o medical issues. It's in the by-laws.stitch626 wrote:Well, just had a really bad fight with a friend.

Here's how hot it is (and how old my dog is: ) when I opened the back door to let him out, he looked at me, got up, and went upstairs.

it's really nice out today here, 28C, bright, sunny, a nice cool breeze blowing through...perfect conditions for our game tonight.

We had it good midday, it was about 18C which is quite warm for us. I find this around my perfect temperature. However, I am now freezing my ass off in my room.

That's like mid-spring or early autumn around here. I think a trip to the boardwalk is in order tonight - there's always a nice breeze off the ocean, and the barrier islands are always at least 5 degrees (F) cooler thanks to being bordered on both sides by water.Reliant121 wrote:We had it good midday, it was about 18C which is quite warm for us. In other news, I set Uncle Mikey's rotes Auge BockTM pending to lager today - as most homes near the shore in Jersey are built on loam and don't have a cellar, that means filling up the fridge with 8 1-liter bottles. Of course, I'm sampling a glass right now... disappointingly under-carbonated, but with a rich malty character that's set off nicely by the coffee, and a very smooth finish reminiscent of Murphy's. Alcohol content seems to be a tad higher than typical lager beer, probably due to the extra maltodextrin from using all malt rather than sugar in the wort.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Gonna try to print up beer labels. I wonder if Seafort will let me use his name if I make an ESB for the autumn? He just seems to be the type to enjoy an Old Heavy by the fire.
*EDIT* Okay, I didn't know ESB was a brand name in the UK. I was referring to extra special bitter, but I wrote the wrong thing while flipping through a recipe book. I meant a Scotch ale.
