Re: A new random thread
I ordered the volume two of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories today. When it arrives, I'll hopefully have all of it he wrote. I am rather enjoying volume one so far.

Six dollars and sixty cents. It's a paperback edition. Nothing too fancy. And volume two of two.Tsukiyumi wrote:Wow. How much was that?

I found the hardback volume that had the stories as published in the Strand, I love the turn of phrase of that era's English.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:I ordered the volume two of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories today. Now they are live streaming the second day... I want a Google TV set top box.

A full keyboars on a cellphone is useful for texting but long messages are still a pain in the ass.

Depends on how fast you type. A 160 character message can take around 25 seconds for me, on a decent keyboard. It's a little longer on a touch screen keyboard cause I am used to going so fast that the auto-correct software can't cope with it.

I knew Americans hated the letter "u", but I didn't think "d" was so unpopular.
