That turd of an episode where they landed on the planet that had modelled themselves on Chicago gangsters. I saw it again the other night a found myself cringing in places...

No, but we did at least get good character acting by the main cast. To me, a hated ep would have to include an parts where even the main cast just failed.

Kinda like "The 20's" in voy.

Just watched some of it on youtube. Kirk plays his normal leading role. Battle the enemy through mind, will and fist. Bones is his conscience as always. Making him question his actions, defend his reasons even if he doesn't really have to. He is what keeps Kirk from getting out of control.

If I had to pick one that makes no sense by the standards of even the main cast. I'd say Savage Curtain.

yeah, that one was just... oddball. 'A Piece of the Action' had some laugh-out-loud funny moments. The comedic timing on some parts was nigh-perfect.
