Re: A new random thread
Not when someone is trying to clip his nails. He's absolutely neurotic about having his nails trimmed, the fur between his pads clipped, etc. Fortunately, he allowed me to muzzle him at the vet's office, and 1.5 acepromazine tablets did the trick.

It was revealed in the latest book series, Fate of the Jedi. Just apparently has always been there. Just no one noticed it.Sionnach Glic wrote:Wait....there was some sort of demonic entity in the middle of the Maw? Well, Lovecraft had mentioned Azazoth as holding court at the center of the universe...Sionnach Glic wrote:Wait....there was some sort of demonic entity in the middle of the Maw? Wow. My dogs might growl at me, but they know better than to actually give me any crap. If I want a muzzle on, it goes on. Why? Because I'm the Alpha.Mikey wrote:...he allowed me to muzzle him...

Re: A new random thread
I've established that as well. My surprise was in the fact that he's never had a muzzle on him in his life before... at least, not in the last 10.5 years, since we adopted him. I don't hink he would have done anything except make noise if it was something he didn't like but was familiar with - it wa the fact of it being an unknown that made me wonder about his reaction.Tsukiyumi wrote:Wow. I can appreciate the nuances of fine wines, gourmet varietals of coffee, rare scotches and bourbons, or the proper pairing of vodka and caviar - but there is something primally satisfying about a good pizza and a simple pale lager.

That could work. I've got 3 subway's within walking distance. And one of the only jewish deli's on the island. But they are big bucks. $10.50 for a corned beef on rye, one scoop of potatoe salad and a pickle.

Re: A new random thread
That's actually not outlandish, considering typical Hawai'ian inflation. I pay $7 - $8 for a nice corned beef or pastrami around here, or $10 - $12 for the real deal in Manhattan at the Second Avenue Deli (much better than the Carnegie or Stage, BTW.)Mark wrote:That could work. T'was a dead issue. They were out of corned beef when I got there. They suggested ham instead so I left. What'd I end up getting? A BMT from subway

Re: A new random thread
Really? They offered you ham to replace corned beef? I suppose they wanted to serve it on white bread with mayonnaise, too.
