Yeah, that's be the ticket for a south Texas summer. Make sure your buds don't filter it - wheat beer is traditionally served mit hefe (with the yeast in it) and a slice of lemon at the bottom of the glass. And make a lot - on a hot day, it goes down easier than Paris Hilton.

Well, the wort's been pitched. I went with a coffee-flavored, all-malt dark lager. I've never done an all-malt (no table sugar) beer before, so only time will tell if it ends up as a marzenbier, amber, or bock.

At this point, the SW expanded universe is made of fail. Well, the post-YJK that is. 100% fail.

What specifically prompted this statement, Striker?

Well, if these spoilers are correct-and the source I got them from's been right before...
Abeloth, the eldrich abomination-lite... thing at the center of the Maw has been killed... in book five.

of a nine book series.

The big bad, the thing that's been touted as c'thulu for SW has been killed.

By Luke. In book five. Of a nine book series.

Also, Jaina and Jag... have broken up. Because of their 'duties'. Because Han and Leia... no, wait. Those two were mature, responsible adults. Jaina, at least, has the mentality of a fucking TWO YEAR OLD!

So... yeah. Oh, and Tahiri has testified she was intimate with Jacen during LOTF.
So... :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall:

My cat Hobbes is about the loudest thing on four legs when he wants food/attention. He meows louder and faster than many dogs can bark. I sometimes forget just how stealthy a cat can be, until I look down and discover he's in my lap, asleep.

Timmy always used to have s fairly loud meow. It was a pathetic, grovelling sort of meow but loud nonetheless.

Taking my dog in later to have his nails cut. This doesn't sound like much, but my dog is especially neurotic about it. He also happens to have a bite than can puncture rolled steel - in other words, thank G-d he is normally a mild-mannered animal, because he could have easily killed a person by now if he was so inclined. The vet's office claims that they have lots of experience, and he'll just need to be tied and muzzled... I'm going to give him a tranquilizer before we go, but I still fully expect that they'll need to anesthetize him.

Thank god our cat trims her own nails, even though she isn't very mean, she can get out of any hold, so she would probably be very bad in a vets office. We need to get her to the vets soon anyway though...

Wait....there was some sort of demonic entity in the middle of the Maw? When on Earth did this come about? :|

This is the same dog that can be stopped mid attack with a belly rub?
