I just don't like the whole smooth lines thing. I prefer the more minimalist look of E-A and Excelsior.

I prefer it to the GCS. While they certainly took aesthetics into account when designing it, the overall design isn't half bad.

If you don't like the Sovereign, you can't like this kitbash, yes ^^

And i agree with Atekimogus, it's a better ship than Cryptic ships^^

(Don't hit me but i love Galaxy, Sovereign & Intrepid ^^but i dislike Voyager crew ^^-

I dont mind the Intrepid apart from its moving nacelles. I don't like the Galaxy much either. The Nebula I do like though.

Meh. It's not terrible - in fact, I'd say it's a pretty good fit if there were a next-gen GCS before the Sov. But looking at it in hindsight, it just insists that it's a weird hybrid.

EXCELSIOR!

If you didn't see that coming it's your own fault.

I have noticed a sad lack of that beautiful ship on the web. Seems there are plenty of pretty backgrounds of the GCS, but I've only found one decent one of the Excelsior, and it was only the B modal at that.

By decent, I mean close to movie quality and 1280x1024... case thats my screen res.

It's a shame cause, as Deep is so fond of reminding us :P, she is a beautiful ship.

Excelsior?

Yes it's a pretty old ship, it's one of the most beautiful ship if we just look at the supporting cast of ships.
