I'd assume he shot guns. Unless he's into bow-and-arrows or blowdart guns ;-)

I meant what types of weaponry, specifically.

A pair of .22 pistols, revolver and semi-auto, and a .22 rifle bolt action for the most part. We also both shot off a clip of 8mm rifle.

Cool. .22s are fun to shoot; there's pretty much zero recoil. :)

Yeah, switching from the .22 rifle to the 8mm one was a bit of an adjustment in how much bracing was needed.

Plus hell, .22s are cheap. We can get 50 of them for the cost of 1 8mm.

So, one of the girls at work told me her boyfriend, who is a submariner, has been restricted to the ship for the two weeks they are in port. It seems he was involved in a fistfight over something Sci Fi related. She asked me what the hell it was all about.

It seems that the BF was of the opinion the the X304 from Stargate could engage and defeat a Battlestar (nBSG) without Asguard tech. A co-worker disagreed, saying that without the Asguard weapons the 304 was likely comparable to a smaller ship in the colonial navy and would be easy pickings for a Battlestar.

Thus erupted the fight. Both combatants ended up in sickbay, along with three innocents who tried to break up the fight (including a Senior Chief).

I couldn't help but laugh, and feeling more at ease with these two guys partially responsible for our national security. Unfortunately, she is reconsidering the future of their relationship.
...wow. I know we can get a bit heated in some of our arguments here, but a fist fight? Really?
Wow. I hope these guys aren't posted on a boomer. :takecover:

Not bad, since Spurs were on top for most of the second half. Did they win in extra time or penalties?

A tune for all the Pompey fans out there. :P

Extra time there was a single goal, and then a Spurs player fouled one of ours in the box and gave us a penalty.

Yeah, there's a reason I own quite a few of them. You can spend five bucks on ammo then go rip off fifty shots instead of dropping fifty bucks and shooting five. That and the local indoor range will let me shoot a .22LR rifle indoors but no other long guns.
