Re: Season 1
Huh, that was one of my favourite early episodes. It was the first Ep of B5 I saw where I realised that there was something BIG going on in the background, where nobody could see it yet....
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...
Re: Season 1
I immediatly took to Garibaldi, the only other one G'Kar, maybe Mollari. They were some of the few that seemed like real people, not cardboard cutouts.

Re: Season 1
I liked Sinclair for some reason. Delenn, Ivanova and G'Kar also make the short list, as does Mollari. I hated sheridan and put Garibaldi into the worst category of mediocre.
Re: Season 1
What the hell are with the sidearms? They look like lil' kids toy guns!

Re: Season 1
The PPGs? They're designed to kill people without puncturing the hull. Why do they look tiny and weak? They're FUTURISTIC, dude.

Imagine trying to pistol whip somebody with one though.

I see something like this
:::hit someone over the head with the butt of weapon:::
"Excuse me, sir. I think you've broken your gun"
:::inserts blade into ribcage of person holding shattered weapon:::

Re: Season 1
Yeah, the PPG props were kinda weak.
Why bother? You could do way more damage by flat-palming people.

Re: Season 1
PPGs in B5 aren't meant to be fully lethal. Its noted later that there are different settings in use and most often the PPGs are meant to wound rather then kill.

Re: Season 1
At least they look like guns. Phasers in TNG either look like a frigging dustbuster or a sex toy.
Re: Season 1
Yeah, the TNG type 2's sucked. I did like the type 1's though, great little concealed weapons.

Re: Season 1
I wonder why they started to phase out the type 1. In TNG season one they seemed to be standard issue for all senior officers and bridge crew. And that would actually make sense in a universe where bad things happen damned quick.

Too easy to lose something the size of a key fob?

Re: Season 1
They would be pretty easy to conceal though - as long as you don't do a Sheridan and sit down.Tsukiyumi wrote:Too easy to lose something the size of a key fob?
