Choose the Doctor's companions
The worst has happened. All of the Doctor's enemies have teamed up to conquer TIME ITSELF! Only the Doctor and his companions can stop them...
But which Doctor? And which companions?
List of companions
So, which incarnation of the Doctor and which companions? You may have up to six companions. And the Brigadier, Captain Mike Yates and Sergeant Benton count, btw.

Re: Choose the Doctor's comapnions
Seventh Doctor - the sneakiest of the lot, and the best bet if you've got a serious fight on your hands
Ace - can't beat a bit of nitro-9 for rearranging the scenery. 8)
Jamie - combat experience, albeit a few centuries out of date, and is handy in a scrap.
Lethbridge-Stewart - modern military experience.
Jack Harkness - immortal, useful in a fight, and knows a fair bit about time.
Romana - Another Time Lord. Essential.
K-9 Mk 2 - Decent firepower and he's more versatile than a Swiss army knife
Ace - can't beat a bit of nitro-9 for rearranging the scenery. 8)

Seafort... are you pondering having the Brigadier teach Jamie a thing or two about modern combat? 8)

Blast it Graham, I was at work when I saw that image. Took me a few minutes to realize that the phone was ringing! 8)

My list:
Fourth Doctor. So crazy, yet so lethal.
Companions:
Romana, Ace, Jack Harkness, Leela, the Brigadier and Sarah Jane Smith.

Re: Choose the Doctor's companions
Thanks, Colm. Perhaps I should explain a bit more...
Four and Romana, of course, work great together. Until Rose Tyler, she's the only one even remotely capable of being Susan Foreman's granddaughter. Romana's also brilliant, top of her class at Time Lord Academy and eventually evolving into E-Space's own Doctor.
Ace brings her Dalek bat of killing and nitro-9.
8) She's also smarter than she seems.
Jack's immortal, has some nice 'toys' and is pretty badass.
Leela... well, look above.
Also, she kicketh much ass. The Brigadier's military and damned good. He also punched the Master out.
And Sarah also works well with Four. And as someone else told me on another forum, her maxed-out luck stat will enable her to find the solution and get it back to the Doctor.

Re: Choose the Doctor's companions
Okay, looks like a lot of us want the same companions, or near enough.
Here's a twist. What would be the worst combo of Doctor and companions? Again, up to six.

Re: Choose the Doctor's companions
Doctor would be a tricky one, since most of them are pretty good. Probably Five, who was a decent bloke but not really up for a scrap.
Companions are much easier - Adric (whiny brat), Mel (screams and does fuck-all else), Adam (blithering idiot), Mike Yates (idiot, and untrustworthy to boot), Victoria (alright, but in way over her head), Katarina (again, in way over her head).

Re: Choose the Doctor's companions
Wait, why was Mike Yates untrustworthy, Seafort?
