Yeah, news and new spreadsheets will come this weekend. The sheets have been updated to allow internal investment in various fields as requested by a few of you. You are not allowed to know what the results of certain investments will be (ie will it increase GDP, decrease build cost ect.) as it is not really something you would know before trying it.

Like most everything else all internal investments are fully paid for in 1 year. They are VERY expensive because they have great long term benefits. But you will likely have to borrow to do them and pay it off over time. That is normal, it is not a mistake in calculation.

An update.

I am about half done with the spreadsheets. The time issue at this point is copying the new portions over. I have to remap them each time and that takes a while. I probably will finish tomorrow in the morning and send them around.

An additional change.

Your trade will work differently now. Your trade points apply only to what you EXPORT. You may IMPORT as much as you wish each turn. This effectively doubles the amount of trade you can do. This should help everyone economically and I think it makes more sense. You do run a risk if you import too much of becoming very reliant on one state for a huge portion of your economic well-being though.

cool beans. as I've heard, there is not a lot of canon info. on the Sheliak, so both the new guy and I will do a little research and submit it to the Big Guy. from that point I'll get him settled on the forum/game.

My god. At this rate I'm slated to be the next switzer!
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Switzer?

Anyway, I don't have an issue with adding another player but I am not sure the Shelliak are the way to go. They are way, way out there. Anyway, send me what you come up with and I will look into that.

I am down to the last 3 spreadsheets to be converted over to the new format as well.

There will be no intel this turn but a major event is about to hit the Alpha and Beta Q's. I will just put it in the news for everyone to see since you will all know about it.

Ok, everyone should have a spreadsheet. Again, no proper turn reports as nothing materially has changed from last turn except for the one news item I will put up later today. Also a new Janes guide to Galactic Navies will go out. If you are a more reclusive power and wish to be more open about things shoot me a PM today or tomorrow and let me know what you would disclose to them as far as capabilities go.

(BTW, Stitch may not be on at all today, he was really sick yesterday, so he may just sleep all day today.)

I'll be on just long enough to reply to this fiasco.
