I cannot stand it when people drive with their headlights off at day break, especially when they have a road colored car and everyone around them has head lights on.
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

That's why I love the fact that my car has daytime running lights. :)

Is it wrong to wish a semi-truck upon such people?

Went to the bank yesterday. There is limited parking and no designated motorcycle or moped parking. So, as I'm a customer I parked my moped in a stall. My mistake was not locking it. I come walking out, and there is this guy who wanted my stall, litterally got out of his car and was pushing my moped off into the bushes. I flipped out. Security ended up coming out and everything. The guard tried to say it was rude of me to park my bike in a car stall, but damnit, I'm a customer and have every right to park my vehicle in the friggin' vehicle parking lot. They said nothing to this asshole who was just gonna push my moped off into the bushes.

Technically, wouldn't his "moving" your vehicle count as attempted Grand Theft? It doesn't matter whether I move someone else's car five feet or five hundred miles; it still counts as stealing.

An odd thing about Hawaii state law is unless he's "driving off", it's not.

This is a true story. In 2003 my Toyota was stolen. I filed a police report and everything. The car was recoverd six months later with two homeless people living in it in an outdoors park. They had fucked up the electrical system wiring to run appliences in the car. The police said they couldn't charge them as in Hawaii its called "Unauthorize Control of a MOVING vehicle.". :bangwall:

No charges were pressed.

Rude? To park in a designated space? No, rude is driving up on the sidewalk and parking it in the way of everyone up there. Yeah, we've all driven up on a motorcycle or moped and been annoyed by it because we thought the space was clear but that in no way gives you the right to just push it out of your way.

To day we have been informed that due to safety reasons. We (people who do what I do) are no longer allowed to have drinks or food on our person at anytime while on duty. So now, I have to chug my coffee and put my second in the planning room. Which then requires me to leave whichever classroom I'm in to get a drink.

Safety... where I work, they are worried now about a kid getting burned by coffee... please tell me that I'm not the only one who feels the world is about a sane as a NAZI?

Rant done with.

You know, to this day, I really don't know. You'd have thought at LEAST possession of stolen property.

Normal cop: "Yes sir, we'll begin the filing against this thief right away."

So, the powers that be feel that the danger in your school that most needs addressing is... a teacher's cup of coffee? Yeah, let's worry about the kids' weapons and drug habits later, once we've purged the real menace of bracing breakfast beverages.

You'd think they would worry more about the kid using the teachers coffee to burn the fucking teacher.

Well, to be fair. We aren't counted as teachers (because if teachers did what we do they'd be in prison) but as "Support Staff" that teach.
