Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
not long ago someone in this regional office, different division then the one i'm in was escorted out by the police. So now my boss is totally freaked out and won't let me go ANY site that isn't work related. So i have to use my phone to check my e-mail etc while at work. To add to the problem, my phone has been possessed by the spirt of the white smurf.

Yup. You need to beg the admins for that.

Ian opened it up
By the way, I did something that I've never done before last night. I showed Kym (the actress) the DITL forum last night. She was reading the Daystrom RP. Will wonders never cease? She's one of us. A former sci fi convention go'er

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Regarding my post in the ranting thread some days ago, it didn't come to a court case. however, things were settled by obligating the presidents of the student club to work a whole day with the 'real loons' at the mental health care institute.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Glad to hear the squeaky wheel is getting at least a little grease.
In other news, I am now officially all about panko. I have a great Costco (Tsu - their cheese dept. has everything from high-end Edam and smoked gouda to fresh oaxaca) and noticed recently that they were selling big jars of panko. Since then, I've used them on crusted sauteed haddock, pan-fried chicken, chuletas fritas, and to top a casserole. Much lighter in texture than regular bread crumbs, and they don't get all gluey.

Dammit. Apparently the nearest Costco to me is 19 miles away.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
I bought myself an early birthday present yesterday. I figured I deserved a little something, so I picked up a Zenith 42" plasma. Got it for just a hair over $500 too so I'm stoked. Watch out Xbox......we are going to become WELL aquainted.
