It may be too complex for the game, but what about some nomadic pirates, or something like that.

Only issue is I wiped them off the map putting it together when I moved a few things around.

I have a couple of ideas if someone ask to come aboard that I don't fully want everyone to know before it happens.

The Sheliak are bad ass. :P

I was trying to talk Uzume into playing as the Talarians or the Sheliak, but no sale.

I have Tholians, Federation, Breen and Romulans. Unless I hear otherwise I will assume the Klingon's, Ferengi, Gorn and Cardassians are doing nothing beyond what they discussed with me this week, if anything.

Next turn we are going to every 6 months, so no spreadsheets.

Sorry, I have been hung up a bit with the power loss... But it's ok now, and yes, it stays the same except what we discussed.

Give me an evening. I'll have it out later this night or early tomorrow morning.

Ok, so tomorrow evening looks like the likely date for everything. You might get spreadsheet tomorrow morning though if I get them all early.

Ships out exploring have long odds of finding something useful. Basically for each ship you have out doing the job I give roll a single number in the long odds (greater than 1 to 1,000 FWIW). If you get a 1 you found something.

Then I roll a value for that incident. 1 being the least valuable/significant, 100 being the most. So far only one power was doing much exploration/science work. If it is minor stuff (under 50, I still won't report anything) it might get a line or two. Something big would be in the 95 plus range and would be something that shakes the whole game up, like finding the Bajoran Wormhole. Basically if you hit a 95 plus you are going to find something you really needed.

There are also dangers. If you find something then hit a 1 on the value (the odds of this are very long btw) you might do something like run into the Borg. You never know.
