I call that worse. If they intentionally decided to flip the bird to all of 'Trek fandom, it would at least show they cared enough to expend some effort.

We had a discussion in this same area over in the Stargate thread. Now THEY stuck to continuity VERY well. You could tell that somebody coordinated all the back story. The one or two errors were so minor as to be negligable and B&B CERTAINLY could have taken a lesson. Maybe thats why SG1 had ten season, Atlantis 5, sparked three or so DVD movies, and launched SGU. Trek may be the big boy on the block, but SG is certainly a contender

If it weren't for the new movie, I'd have said that ST had gone the way of the dodo and Stargate was stepping up to take the role of most popular sci-fi show.

But Trek lives once again, so Stargate has a fight on its hands.
