All the IG fiction has full auto for lasguns. I think S/3/6 works... if you want to balance by removing the reliable quality while firing on full auto, I think that works. Deep - it would still be reliable when firing on SS or SA.

The first is just a Leman Russ flipped around. They made the back of the tank the front, built up the driver's position and tweaked the turret a bit. That's one of the things I love about the guard. There's so many patterns of gear you can get creative with it and no one can really get up in your face about it.

BTW, I just tweaked the description of the Hellhound in the CS thread from the Chimera to lose the troop hatch and personal weapon ports.
