I've read that Conservapedia has become so infested with vandals and parodists (that is, sane people) that it's prompted really aggressive crackdowns and infighting. The reason why it's so attractive to infiltration is, of course, that the parodies are pretty much indistinguishable from the sincerely written content.
EDIT - And a courtesy quote for Rochey's post which I just buried by seconds:

Of course, you could probably dig out New Testament quotes supporting the right-hand side just as easily. "I bring not peace but a sword", for example.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Yeah, but I find it more amusing to throw up Buddy-Jesus in the face of the rabid right-wingers. Militant-Jesus is for the "God loves us all!" types.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"

Yeah, but one testament was working towards one thing, the other, for another. Making them the same is comparable to saying Bill Gates is actively trying to get richer, he isn't, he's giving most of his money away... Which is my point.
Uh, Seafort was pointing out that you can find quotes supporting both positions from the same Testament.

I think it's a great idea. The left should write their own bible too, and then each branch of christianity should rewrite it, and in the end we'll have a thousand different versions and the rest of us can just openly laugh at anybody who claims any of this ought to be taken at all seriously.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

Sounds vaguely familiar..
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."
Jesus H. Christ. I read that and felt a great disturbance in my head, as if millions of brain cells cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...

I found if very interesting that apparently, we only get to see about a third of the existing texts. I'd love to read the rest of it.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
