Just went to see The Blind Side. It's an excellent movie, and I would recommend the movie to anyone.

One wishing everyone a happy Thursday, and one from my brother anouncing the birth of his son (that was also the first that I knew he was going to be a father).

I love when I did this to my parents old phones. I found like 4 texts on it, between my mom and dad, haha, It was a fun day when I did...

Went through my mail and there was an offer from the Department of Homeland Security to take up my contract for enlistment in the United States Coast Guard for a SARs deployment.

Well, I'd only be active during the Storm Season. After that I would be placed on reserve status.

On the Eastern United States Coast it would be the Hurricane Season. In Alaska its called Winter  . In the North Eastern United States and Eastern Canada its the Noreasters and the Great Lakes.

All depends on where my Deployment is.

Why not put in for the west coast? Better weather at least.

Anyway, I've spent most of the day at the hospital. I got that call that nobody EVER wants to get this morning. My wife had a seizure while driving, and was being rushed via ambulance to the ER. Luckily, she was sitting at a stop light when it hit, and her friend that was with her actually possessed common sense. She got the car off to the side of the road, called 911, and got her some help. She's been getting tests all day to figure out WHY. So far, it's still a mystery. Wifey has no history of seizures at all. My best guess is residual damage from the drugs, but I'm certainly not a doctor.

Very sorry to hear. Hope she gets better soon.

Saw this on facebook and had no idea who you were talking about.

Anyway, hope everything turns out o.k. for her and you.

Pretty sick myself... yesterday afternoon, I came down with a terrible fever - I was fully clothed under two quilts and still shivering - plu snausea, backache, etc. The fever finally broke, and I was able to eat this morning, but my back is still killing me. My wife had the same thing, so we're suspecting a bad can of chicken salad.

Mark - Here's hoping this was an isolated incicdent, and everything is alright.

It's good to hear she's relatively okay, Mark. Here's hoping it's nothing serious.
