What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Well, since my mom is amazing, tomorrow I'm gonna surprise her by giving her my iPod touch (she's wanted it but hasn't had the money to buy one for herself) So I'm giving her mine, and not telling her, transferring everything from her old iPod to the new one.

You're saying it on here and expecting it to remain a surprise?Nickswitz wrote:Well, since my mom is amazing, tomorrow I'm gonna surprise her by giving her my iPod touch (she's wanted it but hasn't had the money to buy one for herself) So I'm giving her mine, and not telling her, transferring everything from her old iPod to the new one.
Foxx may read this and talk... or Mom may actually be spying on us (though unlikely).

Foxx knows to keep it a secret. I cover my bases.

Thats a really nice present actually, if your giving her something that means a lot to you (I know an ipod would be mean loads to me if I had one). I hope she appreciates it

I did forget to mention that I'm getting a new one, but I'm paying for it, she was going to pay half, now since were having trouble financially she was afraid she wouldn't be able to get it at all. What a surprise it will be...Reliant121 wrote:Thats a really nice present actually, if your giving her something that means a lot to you (I know an ipod would be mean loads to me if I had one). No, Mom sent me to spy on you.stitch626 wrote:You're saying it on here and expecting it to remain a surprise?Nickswitz wrote:Well, since my mom is amazing, tomorrow I'm gonna surprise her by giving her my iPod touch (she's wanted it but hasn't had the money to buy one for herself) So I'm giving her mine, and not telling her, transferring everything from her old iPod to the new one.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
This is report card week at school so everyone is on edge. So, on that note the good kids are worried about getting good grades while the bad kids are worried about their parents seeing their grades.
I also had some trouble with kids in the hallway, two kids didn't want to take their hats of so I had to block their way. Both of them tried to shove past me. One of them only being about a hundred pounds so you can figure how well that went for him. The other being my size but we were on the stairs and I got to use the rail as a nice little boost...
The third try being the lucky charm, I had a student punch me in the chest. Sad to say he fell to the ground before I could hit him back. Once we got him to the nurses office we found he sprained his wrist and elbow in the impact with me. So, of course being my luck I didn't get to hit him...

I suppose, taking off the hat and saying "excuse me" just never occured to them?

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Our school is "Heavily Diverse" which is the new way of saying that three quarters of the population is black. Being that most of the kids are also picture perfect Urban stereo types... Yeah, being polite is something that again most are unwilling to attend to. Lucky me that I'm a white male who, on every form, has to fill out if my actions are motivated by reason or racism... Because stopping two kids from fighting or one kid from attacking a teacher is such a racist action on my part...
