"Yeah well, seemed life like enough at the time," Mir said. "I mean... well shit Sugar, whatever you say. I know I ain't done nothing with you, just her but well she looked at lot like you at the time. Ugh." Mir unbuttoned his pants. "Still want to see it all?"

Solaria rolled her eyes and sighed. "You'd be so charming is only you had some tact." She slipped around Mir and made her way to the restroom.

"What? You're the one that just asked me to strip?'"

Mir shook his head and watched her leave. He sat down on the bed where she'd been and waited. He checked on the bathroom door to see if it was closed and picked up her pillow to sniff. "Shoulda just stripped."

When Solaria came back out of the restroom, she had the bedsheet folded and draped like a toga around her, leaving her back mostly bare. She tossed Mir a small tube, which turned out to be a body lotion.

"Would you mind?" she asked, sitting down on the bed next to him. "My back feels someone took a vegetible peeler to it."

Mir looked at the bottle and back at Solaria. "Sure, but you're killin' me Sugar." He patted the bed next to him and uncorked the bottle.

"I know," Solaria said softly. "I'm not trying to. I just...I want...frak, I don't know what I want." She shifted closer to Mir and turned her back to him. The skin was still red raw, which the edges taking on a darkening bruised color. "I owe you so much..."

Mir squirted the lotion out into his hands and started to gingerly work it into her skin around the wounded area. "Hey, I just did what anyone would do in that situation ya know?" He got a bit more lotion and worked it into her shoulders, massaging them as best he could with his calloused hands.

Solaria winced a bit. She glanced over her shoulder at him. "Mir, you chased after a daemon for me. Most people would have run as fast as they could, for as long as they could, in the other direction."

"Well I think we've established I'm an idiot." He worked a bit more lotion in, drifting down to the top of the sheet over her rump.

Solaria smirked. "Watch your hands." She turned back forward, and then added fondly. "You're my idiot though."

"Hey, I was gonna be good, mostly." He wiped his hands on his pants to get the last of the lotion off. "I'm just... well I don't really know what the hell I'm doing."

Solaria nodded...and then turned around suddenly and put her arms around Mir's neck. "I don't either," she said, shifting right up against him. "I like you, even though you make me want to rip your tongue out through your eyes some times. I just...don't know if I feel what I do because it's real, or because of something she did, or something this place is doing." Her face was flushing again, and her breath was coming quickly. "I...think I want this, but..."

Mir put his hands on her hips. "I feel the same even though you'll probably turn me inside out if I piss you off. If you wanna keep this going though you need to get those 'but's out though darling." His fingers were digging into the soft flesh of her hips, squeezing them rhythmically.

The man stared impassively as Buck charged. He didn't even try to dodge as the ogryn swung his weapon...which went right through the man without resistance, or noticable effect. He sighed. "Guess I shouldn't have expected anything better."

Buck took a step back, unsure as to what just happened. "Maj'ik thing!"

Solaria nodded. "I know, I just...I don't...really know what to do," she finished in a rush, turning completely scarlet. "I can't say for certain thanks to whatever was done to our memories, but...I feel like...I think it would be my first time."
