As he sat and sulked, Buck became aware of a slight electric humming sound, coming from a dark corner of the room. Squinting in the dark, he made out a small object floating in the shadows, which eventually resolved into the form of a servo-skull as his eyes adjusted. The skull's own eyes, green tinted lens, stared back at him.

Buck stared at the flying skull. He'd seen those before. They were funny to throw. "Uhh... Ello!"

The servo-skull continued to stare at Buck for a moment longer, then decended from it's hiding place to hover over the remains of the mutants, and then the pile of arms and armor. Finally it spun around and started to drift away through a side passage. It stopped in the passage enterance, and turned to stare at Buck again, almost expectantly.

Buck almost tripped as he caught on and jumped up. "OH! I come wit you. Wait wait wait!" Buck ran after the fly skull. All the while fighting the temptation to throw it to see if it would come back to him.

"And I think I'll part yours. Nothing personal, I'd just rather not share quarters with someone who wants to take my head off with a plasma pistol."

The servo-skull seemed almost warry of the ogryn, zipping along always several meters out of reach. It lead Buck through a twisting series of tunnels and passageways. The journey finally brought the two of them into a small intersection which was well lit by a glow globe hanging near the ceiling, which Buck realized after a moment was supported by another servo-skull.

At the far end of the room, a figure rose. Small compared to the ogryn, but large and bulky for a human. A tattered and torn robe covered much of the individual's frame, the red of the fabric dark with dirt and blood stains. The face was hidden behind a heavy mask, dark lens glinting in the light from the illuminator skull. A heavy mechanical limb rose from the person's back, pincher like claws tipping the end.

"This is an unexpected discovery," the tech-priest said.

Venus shook her head. "No, I'm afraid that is not an option."

Mir looked at Venus then pointedly back and Diona. "I'd rather not sister. I get the impression the desire to shoot me isn't limited to your charming lieutenant. Better we split, then you don't have to keep your girls off me night and day and I don't have to watch my back all the time."

Venus shook her head again, much more wearily this time. "No Mir, I can't let you leave. There are too many unanswered questions. I don't know what to make of you yet. Perhaps you are as you claim, a good, loyal Emporer's man, in which case you will come with us for your own safety, and for the extra hands that we need. If you are more what Diona thinks you are, well then we will part company only when we dump your corpse in the gutter to rot. Either way, you are coming with us."

Buck stopped and stared. The funny looking, and funny sounding, human watched him in a fashion not to his liking. "Who ar yu!" Buck slammed his over sized fist into his own chest. "I fights for da Emp'er!"

The man nodded as if this was exactly the responce he had expected. "Of course you do." He lifted an arm, and Buck saw the hand attached to it was artifical, smooth silvery metal instead of flesh. He held the hand palm up, and the servo-skull that had lead Buck landed there with a slight clicking sound. "I am Skive. Who are you, most noble warrior of the Emporer?"

Buck glared at the unknown human. "I am Buck Org. Who ar yu!?" Buck demanded. His deep grumbled voice echoing in the room.

"I am a Priest of Mars, loyal servant of the Omn...of the Emporer," Skive said. The skull in his hand gave a chirping bleep, and he released it. It floated lazily upward for a moment, then darted off down another tunnel. "Are you alone, Buck?"

"Buck never alone!" Buck quietly readied his grip on his weapon. The human failed the Emperor's name. That means evil!

Mir nodded slowly. "Alright then." He stooped down and collected his gear getting his things together and getting ready. He stood up, his gear collected and ready to go. "I never figured this thing would actually be useful," he mutters as he palms the hallucinogen grenade he'd picked up off the chaos space marine. "You should have just let me go." He yanks the pin on the grenade and lobs it towards the Sisters, spinning in place and bolting for the same exit the demoness had used.

Skive's stance took on a warry nature, the mechadendrite on his back clicking it's clawed fingers in a slow rhythm. "Buck," he said in a tone of forced resonableness. "Do you have any idea where you are?"

Buck looked around him. No, this is no place he knows. To small. Buck shook his head.
