1711 - Lirk stopped abruptly once inside, forcing Intias to bounce off of his slab-like back. "Place to fix cars," he grunted, indicating a catwalk around the walls and a derrick for moving engine blocks, and eyeing the vehicles with obvious discomfort. Crank moved back up from his flanking position and added, "Looks like a machine shop to the south, offices to the north, and a fair bit of cover." He paused, listening, and added, "We might need it, too - there's a rowdy group approaching... and they sure as gak don't sound like they want to have us for tea."

1711 Day 1 Intias

"Warp damn it," Intias muttered. She pointed at Crank, "You... Crack? Find a spot up high, top story or the roof if you can manage it, find out where that mob is."

She waved the bikers in before looking to Lirk. "Lirk, guard this door," she said, pointing at the central eastern one they'd come in. "You two," she said pointing at Buck and Boar, "pile those crates in front of that door." She pointed at the heavy crates to the west and the west central door.

"Where's the cog-girl?" she asked before spying Litilia. "Check on the vehicles, we need to move," then she pointed at Raltus, "help her."

"You two," she said pointing at Jastilus and Hak, "search the machine shop and then the offices. If you find an entrance from the outside barricade it."

Buck and Boar quickly nodded and grunted at the Commisar. "We go now!" Ordered Buck. "Crates not blo'k all da door, to small." Questioned Boar. Buck considered for a second while Boar grabbed the two crates present and dragged them over. Their weight cutting into the creted flooring. With the door mostly covered. Buck carried over an empty hulled vehicle. The half ton body was thrown on top of the crates creating a loud crashing sound that echoed the room. Buck looked over to Boar and grinned. "Now da door blo'k!" Boar laughed in agreement. With more then a ton of metal leaning against the door, the brothers felt proud that they couldn't see the door any longer.

1711 Day 1

"Aye ma'am!" Hak tossed off a quick salute and waved to Jastilus to follow. Lasgun at the ready, he made his way quickly to the machine shop, which looked to have been thoroughly looted. A few heavier bits of machinery remained, but they had been gutted of anything of value. The storage rooms on either side were likewise well picked over. Moving back through the central area, he gave Intias a brief summery of his findings as he passed on to the next area.

Moving into what looked to be a break room, Hak eyed the door leading outside. Looking around for a means of securing it, he found some vending machines, as well as a fridge with some left overs. Grabbing a sandwich, he munched on the slightly stale snack as he considered the rest of the area.

An ajoining room held a series of lockers, most empty save for some pornos, which he left behind. He did however take the stub revolver and the ammo he found in another locker, as well as a sword. The final room turned out to be an office, also with a door leading outside.

Jastilus followed after Hak though not with nearly as much enthusiasm. He rummaged in the boxes of parts left in the store rooms but found nothing of immediate, "STEAL ME!" value. The breakroom was a little better, he smashed in the front of a vending machine and helped himself to a few candy bars and some snacks as well as a drink. In the locker room he found little of interest aside from a first aid kit. He stuffed that in his pack before picking up the porno's that Hak had left. In the office he examined the door.

"Maybe we should barricade this like the boss bitch said?"

Hak gave Jastilus a dark look. "That's hardly an appropriate attitude to have for your superior." He didn't push the subject much though, and moved to lock both doors before he started to pile objects in the doorways, tables, the office desk, the water cooler...

"Ahh, yes. Lemme respect the woman who's job it is to put a bolt in my brain if I don't hop too quick enough." Jastilus helped him, pushing a pair of desks in front of the door before heading to the break room. He started to push on one of the vending machines to try to block the door in there but couldn't move it. "Gimme some help bootlick."

"If ya don't like it, ya shouldn't have done whatever it was ya did to get stuck doing what we're doing, now should ya?" Hak put his shoulder to the machine and shoved. "And if ya keep bad mouthing the commish, I'll see to it the ogryn get a full account of ya feelings."

"That's mean pulling your nose out of her ass long enough to speak." Jastilus said as he shoved as well, knocking the vending machine over and sliding it to the door. He headed back and the shoved the second one in front of the door.

"What, ya never heard of multi-tasking?" Hak asked with a half smile. Satisfied with the doors, he gathered up as much of the food as he could carry and headed back into the main area. "Ma'am," he said, getting Intias's attention.

"Well if that's your thing," Jastilus said as he followed the other trooper back to the central garage.

Buck and Boar moved about the open space. The vehicle body would make a nice trouble spot for anyone to get through. The doors were bent shut and the partly turned frame was out of place for anyone to do anything faster then a crawl. "Like shoot'n sit'ing tar-gets!" Buck had to sound out the last word. Boar grunted in approval. "Good spot for trofee's!"

Buck looked over at the Commissar. "Com'sar! We done it! Duh door blok'd now!" Buck pointed with an outstretched arm. Boar reached to his side and pulled out the piece of metal that had been stuck there for so long. Reaching through the frame, he stabbed it through the doors meeting and bent it into one of the crates lift handles. "There! All good like lock!" Announced Boar, proud of his smart thinking.

"My friends - and clients - call me 'Crank,'" said Crank, correcting the commissar. "You can call me Zekro... or 'daddy.'" He grinned wolfishly, then made an exaggerated salute and headed off to the iron staircase in the northeast corner. After reaching the catwalk, he began to look around while calling down sarcastically, "Staircase leads to the roof, boss! Permission to go up, boss?"

"And you can address me as Commissar, or Ma'am, or be shot," Intias said dryly. When he poked his head out she nodded. "And be quick about it."

1713 - Crank dropped back down through the trap door to the roof and shimmied down both flights of stairs. When he addressed Intias, all trace of his flippancy was gone. "Now would be a good time to go," he said. "The area is built-up a klick to the north and east, half a klick to the south. West is the field. Trouble's on its way from the northeast... I figure 8 or 10 minutes out."
